Take your digital photography to the next level. This hands-on course will teach you about your camera and its various settings from focusing modes and image quality to shutter, aperture, and iso exposure settings. Along with changing exposures, you will apply several compositional techniques to capture strong images. Join us in a fast-paced day of learning and shooting to improve your photography. This course is not for credit.

 

 

Course Modality: This course is offered in person at NAU North Valley campus

 

Course Instructor: Amy Horn, Teaching Professor - School of Communication

Amy Horn is a retired teaching Professor of Photography at Northern Arizona University, where she has taught nature, macro, flash, and Adobe software since 2010. Her publications include Arizona Highways, Gold Prospectors Association, and her co-authored book, The Art of Macro Photography.
