How to Start a Business Using Internet Products

This beginner-level course will guide you through business setup in a digital space. Learn how to effectively utilize business software and online tools, including Microsoft 365, and Microsoft add-on services, and acquire a domain name. Delve into social media and website development to establish an online business presence that can collaborate with internal and external participants. This course is not for credit.

Course Modality: This course is offered in online via Zoom.

Course Dates: Tuesdays, July 9th through August 13th

 

Course Time: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., AZ Time. The last half hour of each session will be optional one-on-one time to work with your instructor.

Nancy Fenty is a graduate of Maricopa Community Colleges South Mountain and Mesa, with an associate degree in Information Technology and Cisco Administration. She continued her education at Northern Arizona University and earned a bachelor's degree in Technology Management and a master's in Computer Information Technology with an emphasis in data analytics. Her work history consists of working in the technology department of Maricopa Community College including the KJZZ radio station. She also worked in the Arizona Legislature to implement the paperless initiative for the Arizona State Senate and House of Representatives members on the floor. Currently, she is working with a collaboration between Arizona State University and Microsoft to assist small businesses and entrepreneurs with Microsoft business solutions.
