Personal Finance
Expand your financial knowledge and explore economic opportunities by learning about your role as a consumer in society, and what leads to healthy and unhealthy financial behaviors. You will gain valuable insight into systems such as credit, savings, insurance, stocks, bonds, and other investment programs. Learn about concepts that you can apply to your own finances, such as personal taxes, retirement planning, and estate planning. This course is not for credit.
Course Modality: This course is offered online in a self-paced format.

Kevin Aguas is an Associate Professor of Finance for the W.A. Franke College of Business. He is the lead instructor for the Risk Management and Insurance Undergraduate (RMI) Certificate, along with the Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS), national student organization for insurance and risk management. He is an alum of Northern Arizona University. Kevin started his teaching career at NAU in 2012 where he has developed several courses in the area of Personal Finance and Risk Management.

Refunds
Students may withdraw from a course with a full refund up to one week prior to the course start date. There is a 50% administration fee for withdrawals from one week prior to the course start date until the day the course begins. After the course start date, refunds are no longer available.
