2025 Discover Photography Youth Summer Camp for High School Students
Unleash your creativity and learn to tell powerful stories through the art of photography at our 4-Day NAU Digital Photography Summer Camp! Whether you're new to photography or ready to hone your skills, this immersive camp offers an opportunity to explore the world behind the lens, learn essential skills, and build confidence in capturing images. Discover how to use advanced settings on a camera, including basic settings to advanced techniques like long exposure and night photography. This camp will help you gain confidence behind the lens. Guided by NAU faculty member Caleb Churchill, you will learn how to capture stunning portraits, action shots, and frame imaginative compositions that reflect your unique perspective. Each day is filled with engaging lessons, on-location shooting, and collaborative activities to ensure a fun, dynamic experience.
Join us at NAU in the School of Communication for a week of photographic inspiration, discovery, and creativity! Whether you're exploring photography as a new passion or building your portfolio, this camp elevates your skills and creative artistry.

Caleb Churchill is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Photography at NAU's School of Communication. He specializes in teaching camera techniques, photo theory, social documentary and software. He also focuses on creative exploration and preparing students for success in photography.

Refunds
Students may withdraw from a course with a full refund up to one week prior to the course start date. There is a 50% administration fee for withdrawals from one week prior to the course start date until the day the course begins. After the course start date, refunds are no longer available.
