2025 Indigenous Youth Media Workshop

This is a hands-on video production workshop!  Students work in the School of Communication’s Media Innovation Center, learning how to interview, write, shoot, edit and produce stories for a live student-produced television broadcast.

The workshop is open to all students currently in grades 9-12, with preference given to Indigenous students.

Workshop Modality: This summer camp will take place in person. Students live in a residence hall on the beautiful NAU Mountain Campus for the entire workshop with all meals provided. Students must have their own transportation to and from Flagstaff.

Workshop Dates: June 15th - 25th, 2025

 

Workshop Cost: The workshop is FREE! Successful applicants will receive scholarships valued at $3,300, which covers the cost for living expenses and workshop participation.
