Full course description
2026 Semiconductors & Microelectronics Day Camp for Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th Graders
Discover the tiny technology that powers our world! In our Semiconductors & Microelectronics focused camp, middle school aged students will explore how computer chips are designed and how they make everything from smartphones to cars work. Campers will learn how electrical engineers use electricity, BreadBoards, and creative problem-solving to build the microscopic circuits that drive today’s ever-evolving technology. Through hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and team challenges, students will experiment with basic circuits, explore how transistors function, and see how microchips are made. Along the way, they’ll gain insight into the exciting field of electrical and computer engineering while developing critical thinking and teamwork skills. No prior experience is needed.
