AI in the Classroom
NAU, in collaboration with GlobalEd Solutions, is proud to offer AI in the Classroom for K-12 educators. This course is specifically delivered within an integrated AI environment to help educators go beyond best practices and work with AI hands-on.
AI in the Classroom is designed for educators who want to understand, use, and teach with AI responsibly. Learn the essentials, follow clear guardrails, and align with Arizona state standards. You’ll start by understanding what AI is and how it works, then move into classroom-ready applications. You’ll see practical demonstrations of how AI can support lesson planning, grading assistance, student engagement, and differentiated instruction. We also dedicate a full section to policies, ethics, and guardrails, helping you use AI responsibly while following district rules and state guidelines.By the end, you’ll feel confident integrating AI into your teaching practice responsibly.
No AI experience is necessary. This course is designed for educators at all levels, including beginners with no technical background. We start with the fundamentals and guide you step-by-step. The focus of this course is on teaching strategies and responsible integration, not coding or complex tech setups.
