2026 Process Technician Intensive Pre-Enrollment 

Note: This pre-enrollment form is not intended for degree-seeking students. Completion of this form does not qualify you for admittance consideration to a degree program at NAU.

Arizona is at the center of America's semiconductor boom — and TSMC is hiring. Get the skills to land a high-paying Process Technician role in just 12 weeks, completely free.

Process Technicians are the heartbeat of semiconductor manufacturing. Working from a central office with a team and leadership, you'll monitor up to 25 live wafer manufacturing systems simultaneously — responding to alarms, analyzing risk, and following precise protocols to keep production running at peak quality. You'll perform process analysis, develop collaborative solutions, and occasionally work in a cleanroom environment. It's a role that blends critical thinking, teamwork, and technical precision in one of the world's most advanced industries.

Students who complete all steps of their application process before June 30th, 2026 will receive priority review by TSMC.

Who Can Apply?

This program is open to all interested applicants who meet the following criteria:
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Updated resume submitted with application
  • Completed application (selected students will undergo a background check)

Completion of this form does not guarantee admission or formal consideration for the Process Technician Intensive program. Spots are limited; do not delay.
  • Following submission of this pre-application form, you will be contacted within 5 business days by continuinged@nau.edu with detailed formal application instructions and next steps. You will be asked to complete the following in a timely manner:
    • A formal application for review by TSMC including a copy of your resume
    • An online skills evaluation for review by TSMC
    • A FERPA release form
  • Completion of this pre-application form is necessary to move forward in the Process Technician Intensive (PTI) program application process.

Course Cost: This course is free of charge

Course Duration: 10 weeks

Course Days & Times: Mon-Thurs evenings, 3 hours per night
